Individual Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy
Helping people find a way to work through the troubles they are having in life means a lot to me. To accompany someone on the journey towards a deeper appreciation of who they are, those parts they are proud of along with those they are ashamed of, is not something that I take lightly. It’s never lost on me that out of a sea of professionals they chose me with whom to share their personal story, their unique struggle. We will cover things that seemed too dangerous to voice before and things that have yet to be discovered. The trust and courage that it takes to embark on this process of self understanding, a process that most miss out on through never-ending methods of distraction, is a characteristic that must be nurtured and encouraged to grow if one is ever to reach their full potential. Or if one is ever to gain the insights that will not only benefit themselves but will ripple out to those close to them and their broader community. To live no longer fettered with self doubt and fear. Providing a chance at happiness, sustainable happiness, which had previously seemed out of reach. Give me a call and lets begin working on improving your wellbeing.
I work with adolescents and adults. I specialize in working with individuals who suffer from social anxiety. Often this includes having panic attacks, performance anxiety, stage fright, fears of criticism from others or a difficulty engaging with others outside of necessity.
My training is not limited to this area though and there are a host of others issues I can help in overcoming. These include, but not are limited to: Depression, trauma, grief, loss, life transitions, mood and personality disorders.

My fee for a 55-minute session is $150. Depending on your financial situation and availability for reduced fee slots, a sliding scale might be available to you. Along with seeing patients in my office, I also provide telemedicine options for those interested.
I am a provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Healthcare. If you carry different insurance, I can work with your insurance company as an “out-of-network” provider and I can help with this process if you have any questions. I recommend contacting your insurance company and asking about your mental health “out-of-network” benefits. Patients have the option of paying the fee at the time of the appointment or receiving a monthly invoice. Cash, check and credit card are accepted. 24 hour notice is required for cancellations and failure to do so will result in a charge for the time set aside for you.
